His 356th column with the title "WM, Weltcupfinal, EM und andere Championate" was published in the edition 33 on 23.08.2023.
Vor bald 100 Jahren, 1927, unternahm die sechs Jahre zuvor gegründete «Fédération Equestre Internationale» FEI den Versuch, Championate in den nichtolympischen Jahren einzuführen. Zu dieser Zeit gab es im Pferdesport als weltumspannende Wettbewerbe nur Olympia. Dreimal waren sie bis anhin mit Springen, Dressur und Military ausgetragen worden: 1912 in Stockholm, 1920 in Antwerpen und 1924 in Paris.
